Milwaukee School of Engineering

On Friday night the Luther Men's Tennis Team opened their season against the Milwaukee School of Engineering Roscoe Raiders (yes, their mascot name is indeed the Roscoe Raiders). The Norse opened up doubles with three wins:

Ramesh Karki/Scott Sundstrom (LUT) def. Holzhauer/Klamrowski (MSOE) 8-2

Tyler Van Heest/Tyler Zinnecker (LUT) def. Marsuura/Schadler (MSOE) 8-1

Jamers Ayer/Nick Mozena (LUT) def. Montenegro/Scarpelli (MSOE) 8-3

Following the doubles matches, the Norse cleaned house winning all six singles matches.

Sundstrom (LUT) def. Montenegro (MSOE) 6-0, 6-1

Whiteley (LUT) def. Schadler (MSOE) 6-1, 6-1

Gendron (LUT) def. Holzhauer (MSOE) 6-4, 6-3

Burman (LUT) def. Scarpelli (MSOE) 6-0, 6-0

Piepkorn (LUT) def. Klamrowski (MSOE) 6-3, 6-4

Krebsbach (LUT) def. Matsuura (MSOE) 6-3, 6-0

Following a dominant performance, the Norse had to look ahead to playing a Central team that has vastly improved over the following year on Saturday. After the match at 10:30 am against Central the Norse will line up against the University of Minnesota Men's Club team for an exhibition match.
